CHURCH COVENANT

  The Spirit of God has drawn us into the body of Christ. By leading us to receive Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior. We have been baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit as a public profession of our faith. Now, as members of the body of Christ, assembled together in this local fellowship we commit, one to another the following:

1. To walk together in Christian love
2. To contribute willingly and cheerfully to the support of the ministry
3. To support and participate in the ministries of the church
4. To encourage our children through the nurture and the admonition of the Lord
5. To be just in our dealings with others
6. To honor our commitments
7. To be quick to hear, slow to speak and slow to anger, and to refrain from gossiping, backbiting and judging others
8. To be slow to take offense but always ready for reconciliation
9. To honor our bodies as the temple of the Holy Spirit by refraining from any activity or conversation that would offend the Holy Spirit
10. To walk in a manner worthy of our calling so as not to cause another to stumble
11. To help one another in time of sickness and distress
12. To pray for one another regularly
13. To be zealous in our efforts to advance the kingdom of our Savior
14. To quickly unite with another Christ centered fellowship when we leave this fellowship
